Sufi Music Concert

Bringing the enthrals of Islamic music to the streets of Mount Lavinia, we performed a series of Sufi qawaalis, musical expressions of unwavering devotion, along with the sessional chorister and winner of The Voice, United Arab Emirates, Shahid Shabaz. 

This event saw us indulging the bustling music enthuses with a mélange of Hindi, Urdu, Farsi and Arabic musical pieces, backed by complimenting accompaniments; the Sufi Music Concert delivered on the need for something unique and uncompromisingly true to the Islamic arts and all that they stand for. 

The familiar croons of classics from popular Bollywood movies made for delightful cues of song and dance, as the audience belted and tapped along to the resonating beats.
